About Sheryl:

My name is Sheryl Lynn Baas, the founder of SLF, and I am happy to tell you a bit more about myself.

I am the daughter of a Philippine mother and a Dutch father. Growing up, the Philippine people & culture have always been a great part of me. Ever since I was a little girl I always hoped that one day I could find a way to make a significant difference for the Philippine people who live in poverty.

My dream coming true came closer when on June 18, 2006 I was crowned Miss Netherlands, as this title gave me the opportunity to start my own foundation. The Sheryl Lynn Foundation then started her first projects in the Philippines and I will work hard on providing a better life for these people SLF helps.
